A lovely hotel in a walkable neighborhood, with large rooms, comfortable beds and abundant breakfast. The only thing missing is a minibar in the room.

Room on second floor. No window of street just inside rood are. Lighting in room was not great but bathroom lighting too dark. No safe in room found and no refrigerator. Staying there one more time on this trip but would chose another property next time.

Excellent location- all great except: We got a late checkout (nice offering) but our room key card was not extended so we got stuck in the elevator and could not get out You need a room key to exit down the elevator - not safe

If you are okay with a “fine” hotel (not lux or chic) in an amazing location … this would do the trick. Rooms were spacious but dated. Bathrooms were one step up from an acrylic tub. Included breakfast was nice enough … get the coffee near the water station, not in the breakfast area. Staff was generally not helpful with the exception of an amazing gentleman named Midas who was incredible and deserves a raise. Location is phenomenal … super close to walk to a million places. Go to Det Lille Kaffekompaniet for a great cappuccino and the best piece of carrot cake you will have had in your life … seriously it changed my view on how good carrot cake can be. The famous hot dog place was meh (I tried the reindeer hot dog) … but in a surprising twist Leela indian was quite the crowd pleaser! Science museum was amazing for kids (ours is 3 … would be good from 1.5-12) We did the walking tour with Martin … he was very good and gave a good history of the city.

The staffs were helpful when asked about storing our luggage. We asked for a breakfast slot which was fully booked but that was the only slot we could use. The staff accommodated our request. The hotel location was great. The famous fish market and also the city information center were only five minutes away. The breakfast menu was awesome. This is an old hotel but upgrades were made. The room was small for the price. The bathroom was really small. Once a new bath tissue roll is placed on the holder, the toilet lid cover couldn’t be closed, yes that is correct. It was difficult to figure out how to divert water to the top for shower. The changing knob was poorly located and literally I had to call for help. There was no exhaust in the bathroom and whole area is fogged after shower. The shower door was only half way and as a result water will sprinkle on the floor making it wet. In fact there is a drain hole on the floor. I will think twice to stay here.

The cars keys were kept on failing and we had to get them replaced at least 5 times in our 3 days of stay There was no phone in the room. Emergency situation can have bigger implications if guests don’t have cell phone with the international calling.
