“Everything about this place is clean and tidy. My only complaint is that the room was small. No place to put a small weekend suitcase in the bedroom and the bathroom needs some small shelves for tooth paste ,razor, etc.
Just Continental breakfast was all that was available in the morning.”
“Centrally situated for Donegal town and good parking at hotel. Room in need of a total revamp, huge room but tiny cabinets. Tv is out of date and not up to standard. Bathroom is badly planned with no room to place any equipment. Shower is poor and bathroom has a bad damp smell.
A little attention to detail, updating and cleaning could bring this hotel to the standard expected.”
“Location location location.. absolutely perfect.. smack bang in the middle of the Donegal Diamond!! I have used a few hotels in this trip, but this was far superior.. the apartment just felt more chic, clean, new.. really impressed!”
“Location is the primary reason why I booked this hotel. It is in the heart of the city. It’s few steps away from bars and restaurants yet still very quiet. The staff are very professional and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.”
“Wonderful stay at the Madden! Our sea view room was beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable staff throughout the establishment. Would stay again for sure!”
“Wifi is a bit slow. It is a beautiful golf course in Ireland. It is a great location for sea views and walking. It has a lots of facilities for families.”
“Large hot tubs in the bathroom. Great for after a long day touring. Fantastic breakfast included. Tea, coffee in room. Mini fridge with extra room. Fresh milk in room everyday for morning tea. Room was a little warm. Fourth floor only floor with AC. Overall fantastic stay and place to relax after long days driving and touring: Central to all the hot spots.”
“Depending on how much you pay, this is a good place to stay if looking for somewhere near Donegal Town with parking facility. As a guest house it mainly has classic decor/furniture style and although it feels homely, maintenance needs were evident. Security is relatively basic for a quiet location out of town, particularly room doors operated by key alone. Breakfast service is good as were the staff helpful and welcoming.”
“Staying at Woodhill house was like a step back in time. We stayed in the coach house, 17th century! We walked into the village for supper. And had a great evening. Breakfast the next morning was so well done.”
