Peaceful and quiet
It was my birthday getaway with my hubby & I couldn’t have been more pleased. The place is beautiful and looked just as listed. It was nice to get away from all the hurriness of life and slow down and relax. We were able to sit outside during the morning and talk. We lit a fire in the fireplace in the evening and he brought his golf clubs and was able to hit golf balls since there is so much acreage. The cabin was beautiful, I was in shiplap heaven, it was everywhere!! We couldn’t get the hang of asking Siri to turn on and off things so we did it ourselves. The bed was really comfortable, just perfect! I actually had no aches and pains when I got up. And the goats were interesting. I think they were happy when we’d go see them and talk to them. There aren’t any closest there but there were a couple hooks to hang stuff on in the bathroom which worked for us. The shower was huge, so much room in it and a nice nitch to put your shower things in. The towels were really nice, dried you good and a shower mat to step out onto. The living area couch was comfortable to relax on, curl up with the blankets and pillows and watch tv. Blue Ridge is close, plenty of places to eat and shop.

We loved our time at the cottage! It was very peaceful and we enjoyed our time inside and on the patio.The beds are very comfortable. If you like meticulous, you will love the cottage. There is so much attention to detail! We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Perfect Stay
I rented this place for some much needed R&R during my spring break. Everything about this place is perfect. If and when I come back to BlueRidge I will be staying here. The house is wonderful and amenities were perfect. The huge front porch is the best feature. I spent many nights out relaxing and listening to music. I love the goats.. I went out each morning and spoke to them. Overall this place was perfect.

Exceeded expectations!
We had an amazing time even tho it was cold and rainy one day. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the outside porch is huge! The property is huge and fun to walk. The goats are an added attraction! A hike at a nearby waterfall with a brewery visit after rounded out the stay. We will be back!!!

Special and different.
We enjoyed our stay and relaxed away from business and people. Loved the goats! My husband's t-mobile service did not work so he had to take time off. My verizon service did work so I worked a little, but we spent a lot of time at the fireplace. The tiny kitchen was extremely well equipped and we did not eat out at all.

Everything from start to finish was great. So many places to go and scenery to see close by. They have a beautifully secluded place and enough kitchen appliances if you care to cook. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

We loved the cottage, it is decorated so beautifully! Close enough to town and only about an hour from Helen, Ga. The porch and fireplace were amazing! The only thing that would make this property better is if they had a washer and dryer. Very, very clean! We will be back!

Beautiful Farm Cottage
The beautiful easy drive to this property got even better when we arrived. The cottage is exquisitely decorated and the porch is the perfect place to spend a quiet day. We loved the rolling green hills and the frequent deer visitors. Also who doesn’t love some cute goats. We loved this place so much we’ve already booked our next stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed this house. The greeting by the goats when you arrive is awesome and they entertain you while you sit on the front porch and enjoy the view. House had all the necessary kitchen utensils needed and having two full baths was great.

Amazing!!!
This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our anniversary. You are about 20 minutes from town so it’s very quiet and peaceful…we saw so many deer during our stay! The cottage itself is adorable and very clean. We enjoyed going into town and walking around for a couple hours, lots of shops to look at and restaurants to check out. You HAVE to stop by The Rum Cake Lady and try the rum cake. It’s better than anywhere in the Caribbean. We also spent one day at Morganton point recreation area and it was beautiful! There was hardly anyone there on the day we went. We will definitely be back!!

Peaceful paradise
The rolling hills and animal vista made this a wonderful trip. Had our grandson with us and thoroughly enjoyed walking the property, the outdoor fireplace for s’mores and animal watching from the deck. Was excited to see rabbits,deer,turkey, variety of birds and of course the goats. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area

There really is nothing to say other than BEAUTIFUL spot! Cottage was clean and had all the necessities for a weekend getaway with the wife. Sooooo peaceful and quiet. Loved the smart home setup which was very convenient. The goats were absolutely adorable to sit on the porch and watch. Porch Fireplace and TV was the best. Just so relaxing. *****One word of caution, we used Google Maps and it unfortunately took us about 2 miles further than we needed to go. This would not have been a problem, except it was 8:30pm and the roads were dark. Once you turn onto Ritchie, the farm is about 1/3 of a mile on the right

A little out of the way but beautiful, none the less.
The property is absolutely beautiful. The goats will immediately bleat and come to the side of the fence anytime you are outdoors which just adds to the charm. The inside was clean and cozy with everything you'd need. It was a bit farther from downtown Blue Ridge than I'd expected (about 20 minutes), but since we stayed in most of the time anyway, it wasn't a big deal. I'd definitely recommend for people who like to be away from it all.
