Comfortable space for families

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Spacious bedrooms, including the third floor that was great for the kids. Very quiet and a great place to relax. Downtown and hikes were only 15-20min away so we didnt have to go far to explore.

Perfect

We absolutely loved our Thanksgiving in the mountains. The location of the cabin was perfect between Blue Ridge and Blairsville for shopping and visiting wineries. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was perfect and cozy.

Wonderful Christmas in the Cabin

We’re from Florida and wanted a change of scenery for Christmas. This cabin was perfect! I can’t say enough about Judi as a host. She goes above and beyond! She emailed us great tips and recommendations for our trip ahead of time. She decorated for Christmas and sent me pictures so we could plan ahead since it was our first Christmas away from home. During our stay, she responded quickly and was so attentive. The cabin itself had a perfect layout for our family. The main floor is perfect for gathering everyone and the other spaces were perfect when anyone wanted their own space or quiet. It was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge and other towns. We took a longer drive to Helen for a day as well. The entrance to the cabin is uphill and gravel so just beware with sedans or lower cars. Our one sedan had trouble getting up there but our SUV was totally fine! Can’t recommend this cabin enough!

Nice Getaway

The cabin was just as listed, very clean, and super easy drive up to house. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much the view was beautiful and we even got a little snow shower. The kids loved the air hockey and card games.

Beautiful fall mountains trip

This property provides a wonderful place to stay in a convenient location. Watch deer from the deck or see them on nearby hiking trails. The hosts are very helpful. Everything you could ask for in a mountain vacation home.

Great long weekend

Really enjoyed the house. A couple of nit-picky things... - Stairs to the lower level really needs a hand rail - steep and tricky for older folks (like me!) - It's tricky to find the turn-in to the house - GPS will lead you further down Squirrel Hunting. Driveway is also steep and gravelly. Glad we had a relatively high clearance car.

Amazing Place

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

My family loved the cabin and location. Close enough to downtown Blue Ridge. We saw many deer in the morning grazing and the location is very private. The sunsets were amazing. I ran over 20 miles in the area and the countryside was gorgeous with lots of wildflowers and wildlife noted. The cabin is taken care of and we had no issues. Everything you need in the kitchen to cook for a family of 5 and the grill was convenient. Lots of seating and sleeping options as well. Too many TV's to count and air hockey was a hit with my kids. The fire place was fun to roast s'mores and hot-dogs. I would highly recommend this cabin. Communication with the host was very easy.

Beautiful Cabin

Lily's Lookout is beautiful as the pictures show. Quiet and serene. While eating breakfast one morning, we were able to watch deer from inside and on the porch. Able to see some mountain views which were gorgeous. The only suggestion, would be to install a light over the mirror in the downstairs bathroom. Plenty of nice, kitchen cookware and accessories. Loved sitting on the porch. We will be back.

Great mini vacation

We loved the cabin, plenty of room and beautiful. Jodi and Rob were very attentive, making sure everything was okay and asking if we needed anything. The location was close to Blue Ridge and Helen.

Most beautiful place I have ever stayed.

My family of 7 stayed here over Christmas. We are from Florida and had never been in the mountains or in (very) cold weather. The cabin could not have been more perfect. Every single detail of the place was so tasteful. Pictures don't do it justice - it took my breath away when we first walked in. Incredibly clean, felt like home (but better), with beautiful views all around the property. The layout of the three floors was perfect for our large family. We cooked in the kitchen with no issues, and the kids could play out front freely with it being relatively private and away from main roads. We were there during the "artic blast" winter storm and had some issues come up due to the extreme cold- but the owners were beyond helpful with all of it, easy to get ahold of, and immediately handled the situation. We would love to come back to this cabin over and over again, it was the most beautiful rental I have ever stayed in.

A Truly Memorable and Amazing Stay in Blue Ridge

Our stay at Jodi and Rob’s home was nothing short of amazing. It’s difficult to list all the things that we loved about the home and the area, so we’ll go with the ones that really stood out. First, everything that we would possibly need was available. The well equipped kitchen helped us make all the meals necessary for our week-long stay. The cabin was impeccably clean and you could tell that their cleaning crew took their time prior to our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of spaces available to sleep. Our older son loved the basement and our younger wanted the loft. The basement was equipped with an air hockey table. That provided hours of enjoyment for our boys along with comfortable seating for my wife and I to watch TV. The gas fueled fireplace made the home feel very cozy and where we read books after dinner. Sunrises and sunsets were amazing from the terrace and provided wonderful views during breakfast and dinner. There is a firepit with plenty of wood for our enjoyment. We also enjoyed using the hammock during the afternoon as we watched the fall colored leaves come off the trees. Traveling with children is always tricky and you have to make sure you remember EVERYTHING. Jodi and Rob provided a starter pack of shampoo, body wash, toilet paper and paper towels. They also supplied filters for their brand new Ninja coffee maker along with standard spices and olive oil for cooking. Lastly, the cabin is central to everything including downtown Blue Ridge and many of the amazing sights such as the Toccoa swinging bridge and Amicalola Falls. We couldn’t have selected a better location for our stay and will be reserving their cabin for our next trip up there.

Woodland paradise

We had just spent a couple of weeks touring cities and towns in the South. We were looking for a place to spend some easier time in a good location with the property itself as almost a destination. This cabin lived up to all of our hopes and expectations. Firstly, the property owner provided us with excellent information on the cabin and the local area. Her communications throughout were great. Then the cabin itself, so it's a couple of miles off I76, halfway between Blue Ridge and Blairsville, up a bit of a hill and into the woods. So it's a good, quiet location with great views from the terrace. It has plenty of space, is superbly fitted and kitted and is very comfortable, with big beds and a great TV. The terrace is a great place to chill during the day and into the evening, maybe cook a barbeque on the outside grill, and if you're lucky you'll get visited by some of the local wildlife. The area has loads of interest from walking in the Chattahoochee Forest to visiting and eating in Blue Ridge or Blairsville. I really can't recommend this cabin enough. We absolutely loved it.

Nice touches, but a few rough edges.

Property had several nice touches, especially in the linens & decor. But a few rough spots made the stay average. Examples of pluses; very well done lower level, nice serving pieces made our snacks very pretty, firewood for the fire pit was appreciated. Examples of fixable rough spots; we never figured out the fireplace or the grill, main floor bath is not directly accessed from master bedroom & the tub/shower was very dated, shower head definitely needs replacing, kitchen appliances also pretty dated, though we spent time on the deck the views are definitely obstructed in most directions. Overall the well done lower level made the main part of the house look even more dated.

Perfect Log Cabin

The cabin is a beautiful mountain retreat with all the amenities and charm you could ask for. The decor in every room is right out of a Southern Living magazine article, and just so comfortable! The wrap around deck was my happy place to relax and reflect on the day. I visited the Union County farmers market in Blairsville and brought back some fresh items to grill. Then another day visited Mercier Orchards near Blue Ridge for apple picking and their delicious treats! This place is the farm market to beat all others! The cabin location is great, being halfway between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Its within a few minutes of several lakes, lots of hiking, state parks, restaurants, and charming mountain vistas. It’s far enough off the main highway that you don’t hear anything but crickets, owls, and the buzz of hummingbirds. The beds were nice tempur pedic with matching pillows. The kitchen was completely equipped with anything that you need to prepare meals. The downstairs family room and bedroom was great for tv and relaxing, but the walk in shower was the highlight! I loved the huge tv on the wall and spent a bit of time with a movie from the streaming service. It’s my new favorite property in this area, and I’ve been coming up to these mountains for over 20 years! You too will love this cabin!

Wonderful experience

Everything was quick and easy. They were so nice and accommodating. The cabin was precious and cozy. We had a wonderful stay. It's in a central location to surrounding towns for restaurants and things to do. Would definetely come back.

Cozy Cabin Christmas

Our stay was everything we could have imagined and more! This cabin was absolutely beautiful! The decor was perfection, it was spotless and oh so cozy! We ended up spending much of our time watching movies in front of the fireplace and enjoying boardgames by the big lighted Christmas tree. I can't wait to come back again next Christmas! The drive up to the cabin was also lovely. Not too far from town at all.

Simply Amazing

Amazing property and wonderful owners. The cabin is perfect for a family of four. With the additions of the basement being made, the cabin will be able to accommodate even more. There are a lot of small attentions to details from the motion sensor activated lights leading to the front door for evening arrivals to the perfectly equipped kitchen and outdoor space and air hockey table for the kids in the basement. The only wish is that better pillows were available for both beds. The pillows provided offer no support and are too small especially for the king mattress so bring your own. The kids loved playing in the front area which allowed us to keep a watchful eye out from the vast windows overlooking the property and mountains beyond. Great stay and we hope to return soon to see the finished basement!
