The cabin was very cozy. But we selected this location because of the area and hot tub. The hot tub was extremely filthy. There was yellow soot from dead skin around the edges of the water, which was very murky. After looking in the filter there was hair and dirt in it. The host did communicate promptly and apologized. She tried to walk us through what we could do until she could get someone out to us. But even after someone came the next day and the tub was starting to fill, it was still dirty. We just shut it off and never entered the hottub. This was very dissappointing since this is the reason we picked this spot. We were really looking forward to that relaxing time and spent alot of hours trying to fix the issue. As I mentioned, the host was very responsive but only refunded us half of the cleaning fee. She did offer a discounted rate but after that experience, although it is a cute cabin in a secluded area, we would not want to return. I would've felt better if after all that hassle she would have refunded us the full cleaning fee since since there were other issues as well with cleanliness.
