“It’s a stunning, unique hotel. One great way to keep the wrong people from visiting? Tell them that there are no televisions in the rooms! From my perspective, that’s a big plus! And it signals that this hotel, combines luxury, history, and is aimed at the type of traveler who did not come to watch TV..”

“The ladies at the front desk were extremely rude and unfriendly. Every time I called with a question, they responded with attitude and were not welcoming at all. To make matters worse, we found three roaches in the kitchen area. I called the front desk to ask if they had a rodent or pest problem, and I was told yes. The only solution they offered was to move us to another room. Unfortunately, this completely ruined my vacation. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Save yourself the……

“The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that.”
