The beach is framed by two granite outcrops which provide a haven for a wonderful range of fish and coral just a short swim from the beach. There is also a little resort next to the car park. “We were in a Bayview cottage. Basic inside but all needs were met for a nice beach stay. Easy 30 second walk to beach. 7-8 min drive to grocery store for supplies and town of Bowen. Property is for sale (oct2025) hopefully new owners keep it as is, very laid back and casual.”
