"The hotel was impressive with it's welcoming staff, lively atmosphere and well decorated rooms. For the room, they offered us an accessible room as it was in a quiet area of the hotel. The room was well equipped with tea/coffee making items, a fan/heater, large TV. Our biggest negative was that the bed so small - the photos gave the impression the beds were kingsize but it was only a small double. To uncomfortable to sleep so we ended up leaving the room early. "

"The hotel is located close to bus and rail station and steps away from the Dockyard plus shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms were cleaned daily and had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were welcoming and friendly "

"I absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely stay here again. From the minute I walked in I was made to feel very welcome from the two people working behind the bar, they were so warm, kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was checked in very quickly and smoothly. My room was on the top floor up quite a few stairs but this wasn’t an issue for me as I am fully mobile and able to carry my bags upstairs. However for a less-abled person it may be a bit difficult. My room was wonderful. It was large; even with a double bed, an armchair, a wardrobe and a desk there was still plenty of room. It was so bright and airy and very clean. The shower was one of the best I’ve ever used in a hotel. The water was always warm and of a really good pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was very white and crisp. All the communal areas eg stairwell, downstairs bar were very clean and decorated very tastefully. I loved all the paintings on the walls. I had breakfast and dinner which were both cooked to perfection, and in the bar the choice of beers was very good. I cannot fault this hotel at all as it was simply wonderful. Even the location was great as it was opposite the train station (I travelled by train), and it was about 15 minutes walk into the town and beach. And considering my room was above a busy pub I heard no noise from downstairs at all. Thank you to all the brilliant staff that I met, you were all amazing and perfect!"

"Easy access to the parking lot, The receptionist was very helpful and kind on our arrival and during our stay. The service in the restaurant where we ate was great, we were satisfied with the breakfast"
