Convenient hotel in the center of the strip

Centerpointe was great. Clean and comfortable. Nice sized indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was hot and tasty. The bed was more firm than I like it but even that was not bad.

We decided to stay here because it was a good $20 a night cheaper than another hotel we previously stayed at. One positive was location...but that was about it. Went to use the pool and hot tub and that room was jam packed. Every table was full and so were the pool/spa. Kids were throwing a football to each other across the pool and hitting other patrons on the process. So we decided to come back in the morning. Pool opens at 8:00 but spa does not. Opens at noon instead. Why? No staff could give me a good reason. Eggs in free breakfast were very watery and coffee was grainy. Rooms had s musty, old smell and there was no hot water the morning after we got there. To top it off, three cop cars showed up the night we got there to investigate a possible theft from a few rooms, at least that's what the people were talking about to the cops. When I did finally use the pool the second morning, there were gobs of hair floating throughout the pool. Gross! On a positive note, the staff were friendly. Next time I'll cough up the extra $20 per night and stay somewhere we know has been great to us in the past.

Dear Irritated, We regret that we did not meet your expectations during your stay. We admit that the hotel was extremely busy with the Youth Conference that was in progress in Branson. 4 teenagers per room puts a strain on the pool, breakfast and hot water. We didn't open the hot tub until noon because for the safety of all our guests we drained, scrubbed, reheated to proper temperature. You saw how many people were using the pool the previous night. The pool had been vacuumed and strained in the early morning hours prior to a large group of kids that used the pool prior to their conference. We're sorry that some hair was left behind. We don't know anything about 3 police cars showing up but we did have 1 police car show because one of the kids called 911 by accident and hung up. One officer was dispatched to make sure everyone was safe. Our hotel is not normally this busy and we regret we may not have an opportunity to show you our normal level of service. Thank you for noticing that even with the extreme crowds our staff were still very friendly.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean room
Location: Wax museum, mini golf across the street, Titanic museum next store, steak house also next store
The staff was very friendly and helpful! Beside the pool they had a small game room with pool table the kids loved it. It kept them entertained for hours!!!! Which was nice since it was very cold the weekend we were there so no mini golf or other strip activities outside for us! Breakfast was pretty good staff in kitchen was a really nice woman who greeted you with a smile, she was very attentive to everyone's needs and made sure food kept getting replenished. Would have no problem staying here again

Clean hotel in great location

Location: Wonderful location right next door to Pasghetti's, Montana Mike's, Titanic Museum, and right across the street from the wax museum
Overall, this is a clean, comfortable hotel right in the middle of all the action on 76. I was a little disappointed at check-in, however, as I had requested a ground floor room because I was traveling with my handicapped mother. I was told that when booking with a third party, such as Expedia, the staff never sees the requests, therefore, they are not granted. I've booked Expedia hotels for years and have never encountered this problem. The management did send a reply stating that they are working on a new property management system to receive requests and that a large party had previously booked the first floor rooms months ago. The hotel was clean and quiet. We booked a room in the main building with interior hallway and queen beds. The room was spacious, updated, and I especially appreciated the double sinks. The beds were pretty comfortable and the linens were nice. It was very hot outside, so we had to operate the air on high and 64 degrees constantly to keep the room cool. The pool areas were nice and clean. I cannot comment on the breakfast area because it was too crowded each day to get inside the door. In other reviews I've read, this seems to be the norm. Also, our coffee pot was not cleaned and coffee was not replenished each day. We had to go to the front desk twice to get more toilet tissue, because no extra roll was left after cleaning, but the room was cleaned to perfection.
