I have mixed feeling about our stay. The house was nice and appeared clean. They had sleds and snow shoes in the garage to use. A neighborhood sledding hill up the road. We only had 7 people and didn't feel cramped at all, 8 would probably be the max. Before we arrived we got a call from the property manager about the upstairs master toilet was clogged and they were sending out a plumber. The next day the toilet clogged again and spilled over, stinking up the entire upstairs (main floor of the house). My kids went to sleep crying about the smell. The next morning we all woke up sick because we had to sleep with the windows open with it -11 that night. They sent out a plumber that morning and said they needed to cut into the wall to fix it, so we went without a toilet the entire time. That left all 7 of us using basically 1 toilet, because the other toilet was in the master downstairs. More than half of the lights inside and outside of the house were out and needed to be changed. Luckily they had a box of lights in the pantry, so I replaced several. Getting to the house was also an issue. We rented a mini van to make the trip and we couldn't get up the last hill before the house (tried to find chains but couldn't find any in town). When we came back from town we found another route to the house, 15 minute detour that the van could make. There was white dog hair all over the carpet and furniture and we had to buy a lent roller to get it off all of our clothes and hats. I feel bad about giving this house a negative review because it had so much potential to be a great house and give us a great family vacation, but it started out bad with the road conditions getting in, getting the call about the toilet being clogged by the last renters sent up another red flag, then walking into a dark house was really frustrating, but I really got upset when the toilet spilled over after it was supposedly fixed and I had to put my kids to sleep crying. If there would have been a vacant hotel that night, we would have left the house. Once you get past the nightmare of things that went wrong with the house, we had a great time in Breckenridge even though we were all sick.
