“This cottage was exactly what my partner and I needed. It was beautiful and private. Sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels and birds was so nice. My partner liked shooing the squirrels away from the bird feeder. The hosts provided almost everything, all you needed was food. Having a campfire every night was so precious to us and helped us connect. The grate for the campfire is an excellent touch, making food on the fire a breeze. The only thing that i would tell others is watch out...

“My friend and I came up to do some biking on the C&O and western Maryland rail trail, and to also do some hiking! Weather was perfect and the cozy cabin fit all our needs perfectly!. Very cutely decorated…Clean…Beautiful views. The host even invited us for dinner one night if we wanted to join them! Check in was easy and there was even a few snacks and waters provided. All very thoughtful gestures. We were warned that there was a two mile stretch of rougher road leading up to the cabin but...

“What a nice, history rich house to stay in. You can tell it has old bones but has been maintained and is full of character. Loved the relaxing setting with the river running around the house. Plenty to explore on the property down by the water and in the woods. Exactly what’s needed for a relaxing get away. Close to town as well for anything needed. Kirsten was a great host. ”
