This caused quite a lot of issues and it was extremely difficult to get through to Expedia to discuss it. Also on checking in at the hotel i was told i would have to check out on the Tuesday and re-check in. More confusion. I did this and was simply issued with a new set of keys. The property is in a good central location close to the old town. The room i stayed in (a club room) was large and pleasant but i could not control the air conditioning and the room was often chilly. I didn't find any information about the hotel services in my room or for example a room service menu. The bathroom was fine if a little dated. The club lounge had great views being on the 21st floor but the offerings were limited. There is a 'happy hour' in the evening were alcoholic drinks are available but not non alcoholic beer. There is also a small variety of food available at this time. Compared to other club lounges I've been in this one was average at best. I was charged around £30 for a late check out of around 3 hours and had some issues trying to settle my bill AND still have access to the room. Overall an OK hotel but nothing special. The hotel was our favorite spot to stay in Bucharest. The breakfast, especially, coffee, was the best in town. We had to request room change due to slow A/C. Due to pandemic, atmosphere and condition are not idealistic now. Possibly, under staffed. Unfortunately, we had to reserve other hotel on the way back home. Maybe, by the next year, it would bring back the old glory.
