"The lodge was decorated for the season. It was clean and quiet. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the golf course. It was beautiful. The free continental breakfast was sufficient for me. My husband added a hot meal for a small additional fee. My only complaint is that the ice machine was on the lower level and they do not have a vending machine for sodas/drinks. You could purchase cans of soda from the front desk, but the front desk attendant had to retrieve the cold drinks from a different area. We had a relaxing stay. We were going to explore the grounds more on our second day, but it rained."

"This house was nearly perfect for our family reunion of 17 people staying at the house and another 10 joining from locally. Everyone loved the space, great for the hot weather, cool inside and with room for all of us. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Many of my family enjoyed the kayaks. The kitchen was spacious with its own table and plenty of dishes and other necessities. There was a small problem with the dishwasher, but it still worked and I was assured it would be fixed. The location was great: good views, quiet, nearby lake and not too far from stores."
