“I was looking for something different and this really fit the bill. I was travelling with my husband and 2 adult sons. The boys took the twin beds, that left my husband and I on the sofa bed. As with all sofa beds, it was very uncomfortable and squeaky. We felt every spring all night. If feasible, bring a duvet to sleep on and use the provided one to sleep under. The museum is interesting but closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday as is the little cafe. I would stay again but probably book 2 huts so...

“The camp is a peaceful place and very well kept, the hut was great for a short stay, the communication with the agent was second to none, Jamie was very helpful with any queries we had regarding the property. Our children really enjoyed staying on an old prisoner of war camp and found it really exciting. The hut was clean and tidy and had everything we required to make our stay comfortable. Overall I would recommend and would return. ”

“A cosy cabin decorated beautifully. Everything you’d needle for a night or two away exploring the area. ”

“Lovely time spent here. Clean and fully stocked for everything we needed. Lovely email communication with my extra requests. Really interesting and quirky site and would 100% recommend. Museum and cafe were brilliant and the scenery was beautiful. Thank you so much”

“Absolutely beautiful place to stay, everything was spotless, staff were friendly and helpful. Really pleased with our experience and wish I booked our stay for longer!”

“We had a great stay. Very quiet location and the lodge is fantastic with everything you would need. Would definitely recommend. ”
