“We were prepared for no hot water, no AC, no cell service, but we were not prepared for the overall shady communication, vibes and charges. We booked this hotel to be close to Corcovado, and booked a tour with the hotel. When we asked for details, they said they said that the communication from Expedia was poor, and they only booked our snorkeling tour. We asked to cancel the snorkeling because the national park was our priority. She said they couldn't because they already bought the tickets.……

“We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was really clean wit amazing, open spaces and a nice pool. The washroom was clean and the rooms were really comfortable with AC and multiple beds, towels, and some blankets. Raquel was an awesome host and gave us really great recommendations nearby including restaurants and a convenience store. We weren't expecting so many critters but it was easy to keep them out of the bedrooms and didn't interfere much with our stay. It was such a good environment to……

“The welcome by being collected on the beach and having our luggage taken to the room was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and the view was gorgeous. We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff……

“From the pool to the restaurant to the rooms, everywhere has a stunning view! You can wander the paths to the wetlands and see so many species of birds! But, I’ve also seen coati, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, a staghorn beetle, iguanas, and loads of tropical flowers and butterflies! You really doing have to go anywhere to see so much! “I would not stay here again. Communication prior to arrival was non existent after multiple attempts through email, WhatsApp, phone calls and IG. The transportation and tour booking help that was promised in their description was therefor not met. Upon arrival I mentioned this and the response from the manager was that yes, this is known issue but there was nothing they could do. This property will undergo major renovations in the fall and it seems they will just coast until then. The room was……
