Get away not so good
As arrived on Friday hot tub was broke, after two voicemails and multiple emails no one ever called back. Will never deal with this property management company again. They are terrible and will never recommend anyone to stay in any of these properties managed by them. We have to pay a cleaning fee when it was dirty when we arrived. Not happy and never wanted to make it right either just an apologies that's it....

Great place
My friend and I rented the house for a long weekend away and it was perfect. The views were great and it was a great place to reset and recharge. It was only a 15 minute drive to Wimberley where we spent most of our time.

Perfect Peaceful Get-Away
This is exactly what we (my wife and I) needed: peace, no rooftops, no neighbors, very little to no noise, greenery, natural landscape, and a perfectly cozy, comfy, country interior that met all of our needs. We'll be back very soon, I hope.

Beautiful place
Overall: property was great! My sister and I had a great time and loved the location. Quiet area with great view. Did not like the late check in and early check out times. Kitchen is a bit outdated but other than those things we had a great experience Pros: Loved the property and the location- it seems like you’re out in the middle of nowhere but still close to civilization. The view is definitely downplayed in the description and photos- it’s absolutely amazing. The hosts are great communicators during our stay and helpful with the property. Cons: very late check-in and very early check-out times with little flexibility. I contacted the host a month before our dates to request an earlier check-in time but was told they could not accommodate so early in advance, that we would need to contact them in the afternoon day of arrival to see if cleaning was complete to arrive early. When I checked in with the host in the afternoon day of arrival we were told at 2:30pm the cabin was ready (1.5 hrs early) however since the cabin is far out it gave us little wiggle room to make it out early. Also tried to arrange late check out however we were told that we needed to leave at 10 am (reg checkout time) so that they could get ready for the next guest (assuming to arrive at regular arrival time of 4pm). Kitchen is outdated- particularly the stove. One burner doesn’t work and the writing on knobs that control the temperature of the oven are worn off but we made it work

Older cabin
It is an older cabin with very squeaky floors, nice view excpet it was horribly cloudy the whole time we were there. Hot tub was hard to figure out but we got it to work. The only bathroom is downstairs from the master and the stairs are steep. It was a nice quiet anniversary weekend for us for sure. Also its down a 3 mile dirt road which is very bumpy

Awesome weekend getaway!
I booked this trip for my boyfriend’s birthday. We had an amazing time!! Everything at this cabin was great!!! Great customer service from the rental agency. Just be prepared to be in the country, the road isn’t paved and it’s bouncy. But the cabin is worth it!! Highly recommend!!

Clean cabin with an incredible view!
You are paying for the view and it's an awesome view! Close to Wimberly which is nice. The house was very clean which we loved but definitely is not luxurious. If we rented again, we would bring a couple camp chairs because the wooden chairs on the deck were uncomfortable.

Beautiful sunsets in Hill Country. Close to the charming town of Wimberly. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching movies with our kids. The oven is old and the knobs don't work properly, but that's our only complaint.

The views are so amazing. The house is just perfect for two people to get away from it all with complete privacy. Will definitely be back. Just a couple of things need attention. Only one control works on the hot tub works. Instructions would be nice to show how to heat it up. Also ceiling fans in the living room need to be replaced. One does not work and the other only works in reverse only. Other than that the place was awesome. Oh.. we had a grey fox visit nightly.

A view with a room!
Quaint and subtle explodes into a view of serenity. Copious kitchen amenities ensures everything youd like to cook is possible. A/C can freeze you if you arent judicious with its use. Ample couch space to enjoy the football game is afforded. Be careful to wear shoes as some nails on the decking can peirce your feet. The hot tub is soothing and sufficient. It is a private space with an observation deck above the treeline so bring your telescope. Wimberly is 12 minutes away. Sunsets are majestic here and we are blessed to have stayed.

Quiet secluded escape in the Texas Hill Country
Wonderful cabin in hills located 15 minutes from the town of Wimberley. After a day of tubing on the Guadalupe the kiddos enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. I personally loved watching the sunset agaisnt the hills from the second story deck. A/C kept us cool in the Texas summer with surprisingly good wifi for such a secluded area.

Secluded Romantic Getaway
The cabin is very private, secluded, and peaceful. It is about 1.4 miles down a gravel road that is not suitable for sports cars but everything else should be just fine. The view from the cabin’s two balconies is exceptional. The hot tub was very clean and relaxing. The cabin itself has a rustic feel but is in very good condition and very tastefully decorated. There is a beautiful heating stove in the living room set on a stone base so watch your toes. The location is very convenient to Wimberley, Gruene, and San Marcos and the area is very scenic. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a romantic getaway.

Peaceful Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The view was far beyond what we expected from the pics. The cabin is secluded enough to be very peaceful, yet close enough to “town” for a grocery run. It’s within 30-60 minutes of the river walk, the caverns, and many maintained hiking trails at the college facilities in San Marcos. We would highly recommend this cabin, and we will book again. It’s a classic rustic cabin with some modern conveniences. We had no problem with phone service or internet interruptions.
