Nice place we were there for a week … upon checking in we realized the property hadn’t been cleaned and beds were dirty from last renters … we notified Vrbo and the property manager (who seemed annoyed and bothered by our frustration and couple calls not just texting) she responded after several try’s, said “just go to dinner and find something to do” (after 20 hours in the car and being 3pm unshowered or changed dinner was the last thing on our minds. The owner reached out and said she and her daughter would be cleaning and the problem rectified within a couple hours she was very nice and I believe did there best but still ended up being 8 pm instead of 3pm before we could occupy the house w the kids and after a 20 hour drive really sucked… she was very nice and apologized and said at minimum the cleaning fee would be waived ($250) and “ the property manager would ‘take care of us’ we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Before we checked out I reached out to the property manager about the credits since I heard nothing from her all week and she said only $100 would be returned not even a late check out was offered. told her what the owner said and she just didn’t address it and ignored my concerns/understanding from owner and said it would be returned to the credit card paid with… no apologies no let me look into that nothing… so the owner seemed great but the “property manager” didn’t seem to concerned with the happiness or fairness and very inconvenient start to our vacation
