The rooms are lovely. Food excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Very personalized service. I highly recommend the Turkish bath in the spa. It was my first experience and an awesome one. The terrace cafe provides a lovely view where one can just sit for hours on end. The whole experience is extremely relaxing.

An exquisite place, perfectly clean, fancy, with a meticulous attention to details. The terrace has a wonderful view over the historical village of Cavusin and offers an ideal viewpoint for those who want to enjoy the sun setting down over the Cappadocian magical landscape, while tasting a genuinely homemade turkish coffee. Breakfast buffet was delicious and varied.
But most of all, what is really memorable is the amazing human experience with people available and happy to assist with every single query. Thanks again for everything.

The Goreme Kaya is a jewel in the hills. The staff is friendly, very helpful and accommodating. They were tremendous when we had difficulty with transportation immediately after the failed coup attempt. We felt very safe so far from the capital. The recommendations on tours were excellent. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to town and 5 minutes to Pigeon Valley. We watched balloons from the dining terrace almost every morning - early morning, but worth the sights. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety of food, breads, entrees and juices. Guest relations manager, Ilhan was superb. His recommendations were spot on and he made every effort to make our stay the best, even when he was not working! Room maintenance was excellent.
The downside are the stairs for the faint of heart. You must walk up a few flights to your room. There is an elevator but it still requires about 15-20 stairs to reach it or the terrace. (what do you expect in a cave hotel?!) The pool, sauna and massage hours are limited to afternoons. The massages were excellent, though they were shorter than expected. Dinners did not have the same choices as breakfast and void of any greens.

Elika Cave Suites was the best decision I made this vacation. The hotel itself is beautiful with a great view. The breakfast is delightful. The staff are all lovely and full of good advice about the area. They really make the hotel complete.
I only wish I had stayed longer! Every hotel after this is going to pale in comparison.

April 2016, we stayed 3 nights. We loved everything about this hotel The owners Hossein and Mustafa were very professional and friendly. They did their best to make us feel like home. Their assistant Moraad was also very helpful and cheering. The hotel is close to shops and restaurant. We enjoyed our dinner in this hotel as well.
