The hotel is located in a quiet residential area on a waterfront. It was between Cardiff Bay (15-20 minute walk) and city centre (15 minute walk). The kitchenette was adequate to prepare/cook a simple meal. The breakfast was good with a range of food, including a cooked breakfast. We thought it was excellent value for money.

Cardiff Weekend

Hotel is a little bit out of centre but close enough to walk into town. About 20 minutes walk along canal into city centre. 15 minutes to Dragon Centre with cinema, bowling and casino. Around 25 minutes to Mermaid Quay with bars and restaurants. Rooms are nice with the little kitchen area. Breakfast was included with good choice of food available. Would definitely stay again.

The suites as a whole were fantastic, very clean and the staff were very friendly and approachable :) We would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of is the parking, there is a limited number of spaces as the car park is on the smaller side. If you do find a space, I would recommend walking/using public transport to get to any other destinations in Cardiff after checking in, purely to avoid losing the space when you return :)

City break with family.

Stayed at the Staybridge suites in The Hague and thought it was excellent so booked the Cardiff hotel. Rooms were excellent with great kitchenette and modern bathroom. Could do with new pillows as they were very lumpy! Receptionist who greeted us was very friendly and helpful and the waitress servicing the breakfast area was excellent! Took a real pride in her work and super friendly.

Overall it was a good stay. The hotel is modern & new looking inside. the staff were helpful and polite. There was a hot and cold breakfast so plenty to choose from. The only comment I would have would be better coffee please

The experience from start to finish was good only issue was the fire alarm going off at 4am which was a false alarm and it sounded for half an hour after.

Overall the experience of the hotel was good. However in the shower- the temperature of the water does not go any higher. I know the breakfast was free. It was very basic. The hotel would have got 5 stars if there was more of an options of food. There is not many options of buses available to get to the hotel which was quite tricky. If you enjoy a walk to the city centre then it’s ideal for you or take a cab to the city centre. It takes 25mins to get there depending how fast you walk or wait 2 hours for a bus to the city centre.
