There are a few fixes needed in that the bedside shelf was hanging off on one side and the patio doors didn’t close fully but the value for money is great. The staff really can’t do enough here or at James beach shack. Will definitely be returning ”

“We chose carefully before ending up with this resort. It's perfect. Not too big, not too small. Direct access to beach - not private beach, but almost. Not crowded and dirty like many places in north Goa (even Benaulim actually). Direct access to small market and shops outside the resort area as well. Couldn't have been better.”

“The resort is on the river side of the main street, but only 200 metres from the ocean beach. Fine restaurants are in walking distance. There is a beautiful garden with two large swimming pools. Rooms are very clean, nicely and modern furnished. Wifi and TV are excellent. The bathroom is in good style and contains everything necessary. “The hotel was exactly as expected- lovely pool - nice rooms great location with a very short walk to a fabulous beach with a couple of bars - small supermarket nearby Nice staff and management- did not eat evening meal in hotel but a number of great local restaurants a few minutes walk away- a few miles from cavalossim - expect to pay between 400 to 600 which is a little high but due to the taxi monopoly that’s going on at the moment ”

“We had a fantastic time here. The rooms are excellent, comfortable beds with good showers. Beds are cleaned daily which was a nice surprise, cleanliness was a big plus point of this hotel. There are 2 pools guests can use and are close to the bar/restaurant which has well priced drinks and great barmen/waiters. In fact, all staff are extremely helpful and polite. The beach nearby is one of the nicest in Goa, super quiet and lovely white sand with the water perfect for swimming. Iqbal drives...

“La propiedad se encuentra en una localización muy tranquila y se puede disfrutar muy bien la playa , el hotel muy bonito y los jardines hermosos, al igual la comida deliciosa, sin embargo su limpieza de la habitación no fue la mejor, del baño salía un olor muy desagradable y las paredes del baño con un poco de moho tuvimos que pedir que la limpiaran de nuevo, se ven instalaciones un poco dañadas sobre todo el baño y muebles un poco viejos. ”

“Alagoa is a lovely resort. Family friendly and also relaxing for a solo trip. For India this resort has good cleanliness & I would certainly recommend. It’s a 5 minute walk from the beach which is a beautiful spot to relax in. Down side is the taxis are expensive and will do all they can to rip you off. Be prepared for a haggle war! Everything else is wonderful! ”
