"Very comfortable cottage with great amenities & very close to the lake & small public beach with picnic tables. Beach is suitable for young children, with shallow water & sandy bottom. Only negatives were that the road between the cottage & lake can be quite busy, also the chemicals in the hot tub were very strong when we first used it. I would suggest leaving the lid open for about 10 minutes before getting in & operating the jets."

"My overnight stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Check in was quick and friendly. My room was spacious (King bed) with some kitchen amenities (cutlery, but no plates/bowls) which was OK, given I was able to improvise. Coffee maker, toaster, microwave and bar fridge were quite handy in use. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental style with bagels, wraps, cereal and fresh fruit offered in a room under construction, but a wonderful way to start the day. Staff were friendly. I would stay again as location is walkable to town, but in a quieter and more green space location.. "

"My wife and I enjoyed the quiet and seclusion of this cosy, clean cottage and its location with a view of its pond and surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and kitchen and bathroom amenities were fine. The cottage was a short drive to walking trails and the town which has several historical features. Amy was very helpful and responsive to our questions and needs. We would certainly book the cottage again if we were to come back to this area of Ontario."

"My family and i had a wonderful time staying at Vivian and Bill's property. The cottage is very large and allowed 7 adults, two teens, 4 children 7 and under and two small dogs to share the space very comfortably. No one ever felt like they were "on top" on one another and everyonenalways had a place to just relax quietly if that isbwhat they wanted. (And with the four kids, it was NOT always quiet lol). The dock was perfect for fishing, which we did every day and caught tons of fish (baby ones, and a few the size of our hands but that was perfect for the kids). The water trampoline was also a big hit as was the indoor hot tub. Communication with Vivian was incredible as was check in and check out. My cousins from Trinidad who were experiencing cottage life for the first time said they didn't want to leave. Thank you, Vivian and Bill, for a wonderful stay. We had such a great time and would love to come back sometime in the future. "

"We had a lot of fun at this cottage! Its right on Crystal lake and has a large dock that you can swim and fish off of.We had a large group with us so it was nice to have all the bedrooms (including one large area for kids) and the 2 large areas to eat. We plan to come back again."
