hotel dirty

Pros: reasonably priced
we booked two rooms and they put us at opposite ends of the hotel when under the same name and the floor was so dirty that it turned our feet black and we stuck to it when walking on it

Cons: Need to work on repairs.
The motel is old and needs work. It is clean, and the staff is very accommodating. The location is good and the breakfast is adequate. The seating for breakfast is too limited, only three tables. Time for breakfast is 6-9. Would be better if it were 7-10. Thank you.

I didn't expect a fancy hotel

Pros: The staff was pretty nice, except for filling our pre-request!
Cons: clean, clean, clean and update carpeting.
Location: It was a very convenient location.
but expected it to be a little cleaner, they need to replace the carpet if it doesn't come any cleaner, it just didn't feel very sanitary! The staff was very nice but the room just wasn't that clean and towels were very thin. Beds seemed smaller than a queen. Couch also had stains on it. When making reservations, I requested a lower level and away from the noise as much as possible. We were top floor and in front on noisy street. They were unable to change us, said nothing else was available.

Very dirty

Not vaccumed or wiped down...there was a bloody towel and a pair of shorts from previous guest..hanging on the bathroom door. Lock didn't work. Bed was comfy but overall a very dirty place

Bed Bugs

We got into our room that smelled a bit funny and ended up getting bit by bed bugs in the middle of the night. For a while we were chasing the mosquitoes that weren't there. Then we realized whats going on and saw them crawling on the bed. Tried to clean up all our clothes and still paranoid if we some of them sneaked in there. They gave us a new room which was fine and we slept the rest of the night. The really disappointing part was the lack of concern from the staff. They laconically said they will look into it with no real sense of urgency. The morning girl was snippy and acted as if we are trying to scam them. Also, gave our phone number for manager to give us a call. Still waiting to receive that call. From now on bed bugs are going to be the first thing I am going to look for when getting a room!!!

Convenient and easy hotel to find

Pros: Comfortable
Cons: The air conditioner was a bit noisy and the Wi-Fi was slow.
Location: We were just passing by.
Travellodge met our needs just fine. If you need Wi-Fi, by current standards it was slow (only about 1.5Mbps) but did work just fine. The décor was a bit dated from the 70's. But it was confortable.

Lamp didn't work, no hot water in room, key card would't work, phone system inoperative. We went to another motel. The staff were apologetic but, ineffective. Very poorly maintained and generally run down looking.

Checked in late. Simple process got to room and were so tired from driving that I didn't notice how dirty the floor was! Toe bail clippings all over the floor. The bed was made and clean and the bathroom seemed ok too. But the floor was a mess. When I mentioned this to the staff in the morning. She apologized but offered nothing else. Breakfast ran out of waffle mix by 830am Not super impressed. But I guess that's what I paid so little for...

We had two rooms; in one of them the safety chain's metal attachment was twisted and half disconnected from the wall- as if the door had been forcefully opened. In the other room the chain was missing completely. Not a great sign. On both days, the free breakfast was beyond disappointing. The first morning, we got there with 10-15 minutes to spare, but the staff was already cleaning up the breakfast and we were unable to make belgian waffles. The only thing left were frozen breakfast burritos and frozen breakfast muffins... which were terrible. On the second morning, we got to breakfast earlier, and all the belgian waffle mix was out. Plenty of toppings remained but we were told no more waffle mix was going to be made. Again, we were pointed to the terrible frozen breakfast food, so we ended up having to pay to go elsewhere for breakfast.

Pros: The staff are AWESOME! clean room, and early check in with 2-3 hrs. notice. Food next door was really good(new owners I was told)
Cons: BETTER OWNER that actually cares about the product he has (IE room functions) The staff is only responsible for the cleaning. Owner is the rest of it.
Location: I was down there for a 1 day job. Not sure what else is there other than the Outlet mall?
When I booked with Expedia I clearly asked for a BOTTOM floor room. I needed to haul a lot of equipment in over night that could not be left in my car. That never happened not sure if it was Expedia's fault or the hotel. What I ended up with was a 2nd floor room (only stairs) the furthest away from the parking lot as possible. They did however let me check in 2 hours early and the gal that cleaned my room was super good. She happened to be at the front desk when I checked in. The staff are AWESOME. The facility / owner clearly does not want to spend money to get make the facility more appealing. The phone in the room did not work no way, to call front desk to ask a question and the remote had a sticker on it saying it did not work. REALLY a remote!!! Come on in this day and age all rooms have working remotes and the phone those are simple to fix. When I told the staff about these issues at check out they were not surprised. I don't blame the staff they are clearly doing the best they can with an owner (BOYD I believe is his name) that is clearly not a customer of his own hotel. It did look like on the back side there were regular tenants that live there so he clearly has regular income and not dependent on the "traveling public". As great as the staff were that is only part of what one pays for when booking/staying in a hotel/motel room. We pay for a fully functioning room too. Boyd does not understand that. Stay somewhere else for the additional $5-10.00 more a night.
