We had a fantastic stay! The staff was kind and helpful. Rooms were clean, and it was just a cold hotel! It is blocks away from Millennium Park, and walkable to the Magnificent Mile. I would recommend and stay here again!

Beautiful historical building close to everything in downtown Chicago. Very comfy bed, cookies and coffee in the afternoon and hotel staff were very friendly.

I would not stay at this property again. The staff were fairly rude and or ignored customers. The room I stayed in on the 7th floor was small which was fine but it was clear it had never been updated as the bathroom was pretty gross and the shower head was terrible. The worst part of the room was that the only mirror was a full length mirror right in front of the toilet! THE TOILET! Weird. There was jack-hammering all night so obviously didn't sleep and not that the hotel can control that but the windows are not sound proof by any means.

I like definitely the beds . I don’t like was in the shower was not enough hot water until the last day . The water was staying in the tub and in the sink . I suppose to get free drinks each day and only they give for the first night the was Expedia promotion

Great central location - easy metro ride from the airport. Staff are friendly. Personally I didn't like the two duvets on one bed. And the beds were double rather than king. But a great stay and we did get upgraded to a normal room - but the first night were were put in a tiny room with the bathroom barely closet space. Loved the look and feel of the common spaces in the hotel.

It was a fun whimsical place in a stunning historic building. I felt quite at home and loved having seltzer water in the water dispenser! The only downside was the restaurant, Atwood. We had breakfast at 10 AM on a Saturday, the waiter took our order and then disappeared for 30 minutes on an unannounced break with no coverage. We had to get up and ask the manager for things like butter for the toast and the check. Maybe better break communication?
