2-bedroom suite with 1 bathroom with shower, kitchen and living area. It is the self check in with lockbox. This private space is close to all shopping and dining just a 4-minute drive from downtown Clarkston and a 10-minute drive from Pine Knob (formerly DTE) Music Theatre and right by I-75. The area is extremely private and quiet. There is a 75" smart TV with Ruku for Free Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Disney+ and Paramount+. This is beautiful and spacious and was perfect for our girls' trip to the Renaissance Faire. It was a very easy drive to and from the faire. The bedrooms are large with super comfy beds. The bathroom has an abundance of towels and washcloths. My only minor complaint, is that I believe they must have a water softener, so the water felt slimy to me, and I never felt like my skin was actually clean.

Great place to stay and close to Pine Knob. Very clean and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Check in and out process was easier than I have experienced at other rentals and the owner was super responsive. Would stay here again!

We arrived to a bed that smelled like cat pee through every layer of bedding down to the mattress. We messaged the owner and were told that “only the dog is allowed.” We only brought a dog with us, so I’m not sure what that comment meant. But it was radio silence after that as I tried to explain what happened. We had to figure it out for ourselves without access to a washer and dryer. Gross. I truly understand that things happen but the lack of response was very concerning and upsetting. The next morning I asked for a baking sheet because the kitchen wasn't very stocked and was also ignored so I didn’t bother messaging again after that. The listing showed a photo of a toaster as being included but that was no where to be found. There were extremely limited directions for checking out so we had no idea what to do with the soiled bedding, dirty towels, or the trash. Other than that we enjoyed our visit and would have been thrilled if there had been some action and communication from the owner. Very disappointing.

Our son attends Oakland University and plays baseball so we were in town for 3 nights/4 days over Easter. This VRBO had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was great to relax and spend time as a family as opposed to staying in a hotel. We would stay here again. The owners were very responsive with any questions we had.

It was a great location for our needs. The bed was firm and comfortable, the pictures were very accurate. It appeared to not have been cleaned recently, tables and bathtub were dusty, hair on the floor in the bathroom. While the kitchen was stocked with many basic essentials, there was not a frying pan or spatula for eggs or pancakes. So cooking breakfast was a challenge. The back yard was beautiful but the pickers growing through the patio stones on the walk way in the driveway and to the door were overgrown. The snail like worms all over the patio were coming in under the door and wall in the bathroom by the 3 day of our stay. With a little more attention to details this would have been 5 stars.
