This wind-swept tree has given in to the forces of nature as it stands on the wispy banks of Clayton Lake State Park. This recreation area is quiet and restful, especially in the early spring before crowds come in to fish it.
An amazingly clear set of various dinosaur tracks are visible at Clayton State Park due to the construction of the dam that created this recreational place. The boardwalk around the are helps preserve this snapshot in time

One of the best hotels we have stayed in in a long time! The breakfast was over and above! No powered eggs but real cracked eggs!!! Homemade tortillas and more!!! Staff was excellent!!! Well done!

The entire home was very cute! The rabbit theme to go with the name of the house "The Burrow" was also very cute. Host was attentive to messages before, during and after our stay. The bottle of wine and snacks was an extra special, welcoming touch.

We only slept there and had some great tacos at Taqueria Dalhart #2? I can’t remember. It was across the street and down a bit. Can’t say much about town because we didn’t stay.
