"Overall what felt like a genuine alpine experience with the tight hills to get in. Communication could and should have been better on how steep and windy the road is, that the town is accessible by driving back down, parking and walking thru a wooded path (or driving into town), and that there is a significant amount of stairs to access any of the rooms. If I had been with anyone with health restrictions we could not have stayed here, which is something to keep in mind. The staff is only available for limited hours Monday thru Friday - we checked in around 4 on Friday, check in is after 3, and they close at 5, until Monday. While I had a few things I wanted to bring up about my room I was unable to. The buildings"

"This is an ok place to stay. It is old but it is clean and everything in our room worked as it should. The only thing is the breakfast that is included is very limited on selection. The Staff was helpful with any questions we had."

"Clean place,perfect location for October fest, lady at desk was so helpful! Gave me map and suggestions to see and info on pool times and breakfast!!"
Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge

"Our stay here was fantastic. View of the mountains from our room was beautiful. The room itself was very clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the onsite restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Very convenient to go hiking along the different trails and of course to the falls. Highly recommend staying here should you visit Amicalola Falls State Park."
