"We had a group of 12 and were provided 5 of the 6 rooms. I was surprised because that meant some people that were not related shared a room, but with that said it did work out because no one spent a lot of time in their room. Also, one of the back top rooms had a leak coming from the toilet that went into the downstairs room making the toilet in that room not useable. We were offered the other room. Since we were there only 3 days my son chose to stay in that room and used the main house toilets. The other thing worth noting for large groups is the boat provided for pick up was not large enough for our group and luggage so we ended up paying someone separately for the 7 minute boat ride which ended up being 25.00. Not a huge deal we probably could have waited on the dock and George could have made multiple trips but for us it was hot and we just wanted to get to the house. With all that being said none of these things ruined our trip or made it feel like a negative. The house was exactly like the pictures. The beds were extremely comfortable. George went above and beyond to make our trip amazing. The kitchen is well stocked. The reef house next "

"First time on the Island and the property is all it was represented as- beautiful, clean, away from the tourist areas. Roads are fine- not “as dramatic as many make it to be”If you are looking to get away - this is your roadmap to rejuvenate your life.I do recommend to get out and see the island and embrace the culture- Puden lives on the gounds and interacts as much as you want him or need him to. He took us out to amazing snorkeling site and into 5 finger cay to eat.We also hired Sherilee and her sister to cook island cuisine 2 notes. The food was only second to t to heir amazing company.I feel like we made maxing connections and started a foundation for amazing international friendships.If you are use to and prefer “Resort and Cruise Ship” Living- this is not for you. If you are open to exotic surroundings and open to learning bout island and cultures … book here now.It’s clean, has all the amenities a home could need but the ambiance and hospitality will leave you with a lasting appreciation for nature- island life and adventure.Check out Camp Bay Beach on the east end of the island .. close to this home. "My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see."

"The house was great. It was as listed and we enjoyed the pool, the pier and the beach. It was windy when we were there but we still swam ff the pier, walked the beach and had it all to ourselves. The pool was awesome and the outdoor space lovely. We had Dulce cook all of our meals and they were fantastic, it made our time there indulgent! The roads aren't great but only 45 minutes to sloth and zip line activities and we did diving, snorkeling and fishing trips that all picked up at the house. It was nice to be away from it all. "

"AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, AND PEACEFUL! This is an outstanding place for your relaxing vacation! The property is amazing with rainforest going up the hill and a great segment of coastline. Mango Creek only accommodates a few guests at a time (less than 20), so your stay there will be very peaceful. The cabanas on the water are amazing, with comfortable beds and adequate bathrooms. It was super cool to go to sleep to the sound of the water outside! The meals that they cook for you are delicious and perfectly prepared. The owners are extremely accommodating, and they will make you feel welcome right away. They will also help you set up your days' activities, which for my family included snorkeling, kayaking, a boat tour of the mangroves, and fly fishing as well as a day trip to the more commercial West End. One thing to be aware of is that the property truly is 'off-grid': you can't get there by car; it generates its own electricity; and it is far removed from the more touristy parts of the island. In my view, this was a major strength and contributed to this being the most laid-back and peaceful trip I have ever had! "
