This is more of a critique of Expedia than Bedwood itself, but because "bathroom" was listed as one of the amenities and the price was higher than many of the other budget options, I assumed incorrectly that the room, which accommodated 8, had it's own bathroom. I have stayed at plenty of hostels before and knew bathrooms are often shared to one extent or another. Bedwood was in the process of renovating bathrooms, which meant that there were two bathrooms with a total of 3 toilets, 2 showers, and 1 tiny sink for all guests, which were usually pretty dirty, I am guessing due to supply v demand, because I did often see staff hard at work. Carpets were also dirty. That said, the location is hard to beat, the staff seemed super nice from limited interactions, and I noticed they also support some good environmental causes. It seemed like they were working on other improvements besides the bathrooms, but for now, I would rate the value substantially lower value than the other budget option we stayed at in Copenhagen.
