“First, we didn't get the check-in instructions until we arrived. So we had tried a code I got from VRBO but that wasn't right, so had to call host. Secondly, the condition of the unit did not meet our expectations. It did not look like the pictures on the website. It is in need of some TLC. And to greet us, was a leaking kitchen ceiling! “First off, we never got in. I was not sent any check in information. I expected it to be sent day of check in and it never was. Turned around and drove 150 miles home the same day. Second, I cannot tell you how horribly Vrbo treated us and how difficult it has been to be refunded. “Cozy (tiny) as advertised, but not clean. Couch in living room was missing an arm rest, stained, and had lots of crumbs, dirt, etc. in crevices. Appliances were in good condition, with coffee and creamer available. Suggest rearranging bedroom to accommodate nightstands and possibly upgrade lumpy mattress. ”
