“Good price nice and clean”

“Great property at a good price!”

“The property and rooms were clean. For an older style hotel it has been maintained well. The rooms are smaller but still good for a couple. It is conveniently located close to historic downtown Canon City and the Royal Gorge Route Railroad station. The Arkansas River is also walking distance.”

“Wonderful, hotel restoration…lovely tiled bathroom. One improvement needed, a chair in space for at least putting on shoes.”

“Our first room we checked into was still dirty with the dirty sheets thrown in the floor. We were the moved to another room. About 10pm while starting a little foreplay with my partner, another couple comes bursting through our hotel door and say they were given the room by the front desk. That issue was handled but the list goes on. No tv remote, poor paint jobs, stained sheets etc. I usually never give bad reviews but this one was still generous. The guy at the front desk was very helpful……

“Well worth the money. Clean, comfortable. I didn’t use the amenities so can’t comment on them. Check out at 10a is early so that was a drawback.”

“The environment and staff were excellent! The only downside was that after spending one night, my allergic rhinitis got really bad, which happens when the bedding isn’t clean enough.”

“Cute retro vibe, our room had loud ac/ furnace . They did try and provide ‘sound machine ‘. I’m a light sleeper. Otherwise nice staff , have bicycle loaners for riding around town.”

“Thoguht it was a fine place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds had nice firm mattresses. I liked the old posters showing the movies that had been filmed in Canon City and the plaques on the doors showing which Stars had stayed in the rooms. The breakfast could be improved. The biscuits and bagels were still frozen when I got to them. But, breakfast at a place like this is always hit or miss.”
