“WE enjoyed our Stay there. The AC worked. My wife did not like how the bathroom was arranged. the toilet and shower were in one room and the sink and mirror was in another room. I thought it was okay since I could shower while she brushed her teeth and vise versa. I didn't like the shower curtain. The room did have drawer so we did not have to live out of our suitcase. the GWRL was in a good place so we could sight see the Great Sand Dunes NP, or the Royal Gorge Bridge. “We had a such a great time at the Salida Inn & Monarch Suites. The staff were very friendly & welcoming, in fact they went above & beyond to ensure we were satisfied with our stay. There's a free breakfast in the morning with a nice assortment of snacks & beverages. The property looks slightly rough on the outside, but the suite we enjoyed was one of the most spacious rooms I've experienced and was remodeled/updates. There's sufficient free parking and the hot tub in the rear was a highlight of……

“Absolute idyllic paradise! The house is decorated beautifully, we felt instantly at home. We spent a lot of time in the shared outdoor space, which has picnic tables, lawn chairs, a grill, and horse shoes. Sadly the skies were cloudy so we couldn’t see any stars, but on a clear night I can tell it would be spectacular!”
