Da Nang's glittering coastline is lined with hotels for those wishing to book a room along the ocean. It's also just a few miles from Da Nang City Centre. To watch local fishermen, Tho Quang Beach puts visitors in the heart of a fishing neighborhood and within a short distance from the Son Tra Peninsula. For a quiet retreat, stay near the idyllic lagoon of Lang Co Beach in the Phu Loc district, a 50-minute taxi ride from the airport.

Street food in Da Nang is renowned across the country and available in almost any neighborhood. However, the streets surrounding the Han River in the Hai Chau district are areas that really make a flavorful impression. Bach Dang Street is a waterfront promenade lined with everything from Japanese to Italian food, among local favorites. Accommodations in the Ngu Hanh Son district are close to the Marble Mountains, a great spot to delve into caves, temples, and reminders of the Vietnam War within five limestone hills.
