Property was under construction and no prori warning qas given when we made the reservation. First night we had no A/C, but they did provide a under powered fan so that we could move the stale air around. Was supposed to send maintenance to check A/C at 9am. Showed up right on time, 6 hours later! Self park and valet park was the exact same price. Why? They advertise restaurant was open breakfast, lucnh, and dinner. Restaurant was not open for lunch.

The whole place was under construction. From the parking lot, to the lobby, rooftop bar etc. I work in construction, so the last thing i need in a vacation is to listen to hammer drills and smell paint. I wouldnt have booked had i known this.

We had a wonderful stay aside from the construction. Didn’t feel inconvenienced in any way it was just an eye sore and chaotic as are most construction sites. The Staff did a good job of isolating the renovations the best they could. I believe they are close to being finished and will look amazing.

We were not aware that the property was HEAVILY under construction/ remodeling. There were ladders and cranes and construction crews with heavy equipment all around the parking lot and inside the building… children had to be careful not to touch walls in main areas as paint was wet. Our room itself was fine. But even from inside with doors closed we could hear construction. We tried to go to the pool but the noise of construction in parking lot was so loud my toddler was scared and crying so we had to leave. The neighborhood is fine and view is very nice, but none of it could be enjoyed due to the noise and dust from the construction. All of the workers were wearing earplugs and eye protection and hard hats, but the guests were expected to share the same space? I just wish they would have been transparent about this.

Currently the hotel is being renovated (no notice to us), so it's a mess for guests in the parking and entry areas and very unsafe... lawsuit waiting to happen. On top of that, my husband and I were eaten alive by fleas over a two-night stay. We are not happy.

I have never been more disappointed in a hotel stay! I wish it had been visibly disclosed that this property is in the middle of a major renovation. I booked based on the photos, and the 7 /10 rating, and the location. I even chose to pay a little bit more than some of the other options I was looking at because it felt more upscale. Only to be shocked upon arrival that it's under construction. By the time I read the other reviews that spoke about this it was too late. Please update the expedia website in an obvious place until renovation is done! Or at least offer a discount and disclose what guests may experience due to renovations..... During our stay there was no working water in the bldg for several hours. There's dust, wires, and unfinished bits n bobs everywhere. Toilet wouldn't flush, the phone in our room didn't work, the wifi signal was poor, the sliding door to our balcony barely slide open, which was not an issue because the freeway noise and the train outside our balcony made it too noisy to leave the door open. The front desk people felt apathetic, and unable to do much about all the issues. phone repair/replacement never happened. there's was nothing that could be done about the wifi. I have never left a bad review for any place I've stayed before... but this left me feeling betrayed. And disregarded. My two night stay cost almost as much as a month of rent for my family,,, this was supposed to be a peaceful getaway for us, but I'm more aggravated.

The property was under remodel, dusty and dirty, Handicap parking spot used for valet parking, and the cars dudnt have handicap permit. Most parking spot are used for the furniture removed from the room for remodeling. When we check in we discovered ants in the room

It started from the first day the room I booked had NO AC they were in process of renovation and didn't know what was going on. Huge lack of management or no management not sure why they use the Hilton name when it didn't live up to it. The only good service we got was from the valet guys they were the best there. The other good thing is you can walk across the street to the beach and that's about it. Room service was horrible took over an hour to bring food and it was cold by that time.
