"This is not a nice hotel! The pictures are misleading, it looks like they are probably several years old. The hotel is much less inviting now. I guess it would be fine for travelers on a limited budget who don't mind very basic accommodations. The grounds were untidy with visible piles of garbage, the rooms were spartan and uninviting - the place looked more like a barracks than a hotel. I took one look at the place and my room, and left to find another hotel, even though I had already pre-paid....

"Good idea but lacks in execution. The only positives for me are the front desk staff and comfortable bed. On the negatives, the rooms are too dark and stuffy (install dimmers instead), cleanliness can be improved upon... some areas were dusty and there were blood stains (guessing mosquito blood) on parts of the mosquito net and bed sheets, the mosquito net had big holes, mosquito repellent spray was not available, shower inadequate."

"The hotel is Bungalow type where can haves the private space to relax. However, night time I lost the way back to the room because it is like a maze and no name and number for each Bungalow except that the hotel is amazing."

"After booking, 3 weeks prior to our visit, we noticed that we booked for the wrong date (actual visit would be a day later). Within 45 minutes after booking we contacted Expedia, who in turn contacted the hotel to change the date, but Mantasaly would not except our change for a day later, eventhough there were rooms available. We had to pay the full amount for the room (including a cancellation insurance we included) eventhough we couldn’t stay there. We ended up staying in the Nature Lodge in...
