"Overpriced substandard facilities. Freezing cold bedroom. Ugly architecture, dark and dingy. Dirty dark and cold bathroom. Window stained with dead bugs and dust. No heaters to compensate. Very depressing. No hot water. We were forced to to ask them to boil water and put it into buckets in order to wash ourselves by using an empty margarine container. Unheard of when we have paid £900 to be in this tacky facility worthy of a YMCA student accommodation Location of the property is very bad....

Serengeti Luxury Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing don't actually capture how wonderfully this place is. My room was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities you will find on a luxurious hotel in a big city. The lodge is perched on a hillside overlooking a huge and gorgeous valley. I can lounge on my patio seats all day looking at the valley. Breakfast needs a bit of improvement, but lunch and dinner offerings were quite delicious. Those guys will feed you to death if you let them. I definitely recommends this wonderfully retreat."

Anantya Serengeti
10/10 Excellent
"This trip to the Serengeti was truly a bucket-list experience, the kind that creates core memories and this luxury camp made it even more special than I could have imagined.I traveled with my kids, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The camp itself is spotless, superbly maintained, and incredibly comfortable. One detail that really stood out was the hot water bottle tucked into the sheets at night ,such a thoughtful touch that made the evenings cozy and unforgettable. But the true gems of this camp are the people. Every single staff member was exceptional, from the talented chef to the Maasai tribesmen who safely escorted us to our tent at night. A very special mention goes to Paolo and Agnes, my kids absolutely adored them and couldn’t get enough of their company. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our stay magical. My only regret is that we stayed just two nights ,it was nowhere near enough. I give this camp 5 stars without hesitation, and for the staff… 1,000 stars ⭐️. This is a place that stays with you long after you leave."

Seronera Wildlife Lodge
4/10 Poor
"Unfortunately, our experience with this place started off as a nightmare. We emailed them more than 45 days in advance to confirm payment of the park fees for two people and received no response. As our arrival date got closer, we had to repeatedly email and call just to get basic information. When we tried to confirm airport pickup, the staff became overly aggressive about selling us their game drive package. We clearly explained that we already had some activities booked and would decide after arriving, but they refused to budge. It felt as though if we didn’t book their game drive, we would not receive airport transportation. Their main focus seemed to be getting money rather than providing service. We were repeatedly told that card payments “didn’t work” and that only cash was accepted, which raised serious concerns. We were nearly charged for the same things twice, so please be very careful. The main individuals involved in these issues were Emmanuel and Patrick. I was forced to wire money for park fees, transportation, and airport pickup. Despite tipping, the service noticeably declined after our stay, especially when it came to attitudes around tips. On a positive note, the manager, Ajy, was very helpful. When I called him about an hour before landing, he stepped in and ensured we at least had transportation to the hotel, which we truly appreciated. The food was good, and the chef was very accommodating with my husband’s dietary preferences."

Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
6/10 Okay
"My stay was OK, but nobody from the hotel advised how to enter Serengeti Park via flight, while fees to be paid in the hotel - I was stuck at Serengeti airport for 3 hours"

"Excellent stay. Mosses and the entire Melia Serengeti staff were nice, friendly, accommodating and warm. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt like home during our stay. Would recommend staying here. :)"
