Peru Hotel & Resort Travel Guide

Located in the western part of the South American continent, the country of Peru borders the Pacific Ocean on the west and the Andes mountain range on the east. Consequently, guests of hotels in Peru have a variety of available outdoor activities depending on their own personal tastes and preferences. Those who prefer to go deep sea fishing can charter boats from businesses located in Peru's coastal communities, while visitors who prefer mountains can visit the Altiplano plateau or go mountain climbing in the Andes. Adventure tourism is highly popular in Peru because of the vast variations of terrain that lie within the country's borders. Guests staying in Peru hotels can go sailing, skiing, surfing, fishing, and rock climbing all within the same week. The waves off the coast of Peru are world-renowned among serious surfers.

"Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of cusco "
We were in Cusco for four nights and enjoyed the attention to detail and the impeccable service from each and every member of the staff. The Monastario is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. Our room came with an amazing breakfast served either in the garden or a in the glassed in dining area looking onto the grounds. The lobby has a dramatic bar area with very good Pisco sours!

We had to leave at 5am to get to MP. Breakfast at the hotel doesn't start until 5:30am so we were provided on request with a brown bag including a sandwich, some fruit and water...while this was much appreciated other hotels have a breakfast service from 4:45am.

"Excellent hotel in the center of the city"
We were happily surprised to find this hotel in the middle of the city. One square from the main street. The staff was nice and they arrange dinner, tours and taxi for us. The hotel was not expensive. The outer services were a litlle bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The breakfast buffet was very good. You should try some little pancakes made of quinua: add honey on it. Tierra Viva is a chain in Peru. If I had known, I would ´ve stayed with them in other cities we visited. Good bed, good pillows. Puno is a very high place. Don´t hesitate to take some pills to feel better.
