"The Grand Hotel Alassio Resort & Spa is a wonderful, classic hotel which lived up to its name. Built in 1897, it is completely modernized. The lobby is open directly with two waterfront restaurants, a waterfront bar, and a private beach. We had a beautiful room with an elegant bathroom. It was extremely clean. "Overall a great property. The staff was very friendly and all spoke excellent English. The breakfast was above expectations. The only reason I did not rate it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was because unfortunately there was a cover for the roller blinds that kept us up as it was windy outside and it was not properly fastened. I could not identify what was making the noise until the morning, but notified the front desk of the problem. "
