I’ve stayed at this hotel dozens of times over the past 30 years. This will be my last stay. The property is no longer in acceptable condition, it does not feel safe with homeless activity near the multiple outside guest entrances, overflowing garbage cans and tired rooms, carpets and decor. Normally I’d stay here before an early flight, eat in the restaurant bar, and take a shuttle to the airport. This visit I sat in the bar for nearly 10 minutes at 7pm and walked out, as no staff was present. Walking to the taco truck outside. Tables that had been served were waiting for the staff to return, looking around confused. The main restaurant no longer opens, so there has been one bartender serving all of the customers with no backup help during my past 5-6 stays. Thanks for all the years of stays, Piccadilly, but all be using the Best Western across the street from now on.

The room was nice and roomy and clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and everything was in working order. My only complaints was there was no A/C or fan so it was hotter inside than outside, when we opened the windows it cooled off a good bit though. The woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. We stayed here just passing through but I’d love to come back and stay in one of the bigger cabins and explore the lake someday soon!
