"Trogon was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The property and the location was priceless. The staff was fantastic and always willing to help. The cabins were clean and cozy and with the weather it will probably the best sleep you will ever have. The Food is very good plus there are a few other very good options within a couple of KM's. The bar/lounge was amazing and a Mojito is a must..."

"This was a beautiful house in a beautiful area of Costa Rica. Great location for beaches, restaurants, jungle tours, waterfalls, and a relaxing dip in the pool to unwind after all of it. While the advertisement says it is in walking distance to the beach, the hill is very steep. We climbed it, but I can't imagine doing that with beach chairs towels etc. It is a very short drive to numerous locations so that is not really a negative, only a point of information. "

"This was the nicest place we've stayed. My kids lived in the pool. We loved watching the lizards, bats, birds. The house was cool, clean, and comfortable. Would recommend to everyone!"

"The location is perfect just above Domenical, close to grocery stores/gas station, quick drive either north or south to National Parks and beach excursions. The only inconvenience with the property was the oven didn't work after the first use (wouldn't shut off) so it had to be disabled for the remainder of the stay which changed our meal plans after we had bought all of our groceries. We loved the location, setting, the property was well landscaped and beautiful for evening and morning relaxation and bird watching. We even saw the troop of monkeys outside of the windows one of the days. "

"This is an unbeleivable property. The location is beyond compare and the proximity to the village of Dominical (within walking distance) offered a good variety of restaurants and shops.The attention to detail by our hosts Robert and Whitney was exceptional-whether you need water toys, binoculars or a cork screw you didn't need to ask-everything is provided. The availability of our host Robert was awsome-his recommendations on local amenities was invaluable.We couldn't ask for a better host.Can't wait to return."

"A remarkable villa where you can hear the ocean continuously throughout your stay.Key highlights: two primary suites, each with its own private bathroom. The view is spectacular and uncompromised—both from the bedrooms and from the living areas and terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped.Perfect for lounging by the pool, taking in the Pacific, and enjoying a convenient location: the beach is just a few minutes’ walk away, surfing in Dominical is a short drive, and Corcovado tours can be arranged from Uvita. It’s also great for remote work.One note: if you’re looking for a “jungle house” vibe—total seclusion with nothing but birdsong—this isn’t the place, as you can hear road noise during the day.Finally, the terrace furniture is beautiful, and the cushions seem to have been replaced recently. A small detail: the outdoor table shows some wear and isn’t quite on par with the rest.We absolutely loved this villa—we’re already planning to return next year."
