We travelled as a family and were concerned Temple Bar area would be too noisy. Mind you it was a Tuesday night but we had no issues with noise and had a great time watching the Cup and listening to live music at the sports bar attached. The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly and the accommodations lovely.

The staff was great! Check-in was easy and staff was very friendly. Parking is not available on-site, paid €38 for 2 nights. The room was clean and the towels were refreshed daily. Ice cream was available at the front counter. Was given vouchers for complimentary daiquiris for Buskers, but Buskers did not honor us - I notified TBH upon check-out and they offered us breakfast to make up for it. Breakfast was delicious! We only wish the shower door was full width, but after staying at other hotels it seems customary. Overall, this hotel was great, in a good location, and staff was amazing.

The Temple Bar Hotel was an excellent hotel for the start of our trip to Ireland. The Hotel is walking distance from so many sites in Dublin. The Hotel has great rooms and the bar/restaurant had the best staff and were so nice to help out in anyway. It was a great experience. Much appreciated.

Super nice hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. It is right on the main strip in temple bar. My friend and I enjoyed that as young female travelers, we could go out at night and only have to walk 5 minutes back to the hotel. There is also a lovely bar directly attached to the hotel. Totally recommend!

For a 4-star hotel, it was lacking in decor and hadn’t been updated in a long time. We questioned the cleanliness of the carpet. The bed was old and barely adequate and only had one pillow per person. The room which accommodated 3 people was tiny. It is in a great location. The staff was friendly but did not proactively tell us about what was included, including breakfast. We did not personally have a problem with street noise given we were on a side street. The cleaning staff was friendly and attentive. I believe the rate we received for pre-booking was way higher than what we could have gotten closer to our arrival date.

Location was good if you know going in that it is going to be a noisy, crowded location. Room small but clean and sufficient. View was overlooking the heating and cooling system so that was not great.Our biggest issue was that the hotel CONTACTED US before our trip offering us early check-in for a fee. Since we were traveling overnight, we thought this would be good considering we would be tired and in need of freshening up. When we got to the hotel at 9:00 AM the clerk said that there were no rooms available for early check in. I informed them that I paid for it so he said to check back in a few hours. We did, still no room available. He said he couldn't guarantee anything before 4PM but to keep checking back. We were exhausted and had to alter our plans for the day and ultimately were not able to check in until 3:30. No apologies or offers to upgrade accommodations were made. Our room was small and had the worst view in the place. They offer coffee and snacks in the lobby but do not let you charge anything to your room. Be sure to have cash in hand. The desk staff also refused to print out a detailed receipt upon check out claiming, because we used a third-party booking, they could not do that. Overall, it was okay but I would definitely look elsewhere the next time.
