“I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. I was later told by a customer that you could order half portions of the main menu items. I didn’t realize this and would have done so. Good drafts on tap, staff were friendly but the room...

“We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future.”

“We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property.”

“Etwas unpersönlich, da Eingang nur mit Code. Echter Mensch beim Frühstück, was auch sehr gut war. Schönes Zimmer mit Mehrblick, kostenloser Parkplatz und Supermarkt vor der Tür. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Lediglich kein richtiger Klopapierhalter im Bad. Ansonsten alles top.”

“The only word to describe the holiday home and the whole experience is perfect. I can't use the word caravan and it's better than that it's a true home from home. It had everything you need and more.. Kids loved the fast broadband and smart TV. There was a welcome basket with things you need for your first night.. I would recommend this home to anybody and everybody xxx”
