“You definitely get what you pay for at this hotel, but it served its purpose well for a quick overnight stop. The staff was great and let me check in early, plus they were kind enough to let me park my motorcycle under the front entrance canopy. The room was a generous size, though the decor and fixtures felt stuck in the '80s. The couch was pretty worn and stained, and the shower handle was loose (though the water pressure made up for it). My heater also blew cold air even set to 78°F, but……

“Breakfast was very good! Some staff at front desk were rude and inconsiderate! Our grandson suffers from traumatic anxiety and had a bed accident! Our daughter went to front desk at 3 am to get dry sheets and mattress cover! She said all she had was sheet and housekeeping would be in at 8! Now I am not stupid if you are the night manager you have access to whatever you need. She was just lazy, rude and didn’t want to bother! “My adult daughter and I were in the mountains for a family wedding, and loved staying 2 nights at this quiet, country smokehouse-turned-cabin. The living room/art studio has huge windows looking out over a large pond full of water lilies. A peacock and several peahens enjoyed the sunny side porch in the mornings. Another room is full of vintage collectibles and antiques. The bathroom is small and basic, but the kitchenette features a fine Home Comfort oven plus microwave, refrigerator and……

“Lavender Creek property was perfect for my visit to East Tennessee. The house was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities needed when traveling. I would stay there again if the opportunity rises.”
