The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. "I knew I was in for a noisy ride when they put me in a room behind the reception. I was right. The staff were very noisy from 7 in the morning. Big gap under the door so it felt like they were in my room. Then, low and behold, the cleaner just walked in at 830 without knocking. She didn’t apologise or even lock the door. "I booked for 28 days for work. The location is phenomenal, right in the middle of the city center. Alessio and Claudia were so kind and accommodating. Claudia prepared my breakfast fresh every morning with eggs, fruit , croissant, coffee, and water. Alessio, provided suggestions for food and sites to visit and took care of any issue very quickly. Alessio and Claudia made my stay in Taranto much more memorable and enjoyable. I thank them for everything they did. "

The location right across from the Duomo was very safe and a short walk to the train station and/or through the old city toward the castle and across the bridge to the new city... Our hosts Fabio and his wife Francesca were most helpful and picked us up at the station and drove us to the apartment to make sure we were comfortable... They even came over when we checked-out and took us to the station where we got our train to Rome... We highly recommend this apartment and thank our hosts for everything...!"
