"It was great I either stayed here while im in Bancroft every Monday or I dropped ve to Belleville to the Fairfield Inn Marriott but it's a 1.5-hour drive to Belleville just a one-way. "

"The Laughing Moose Lodge is a beautifully kept lovely home located close to Algonquin Park. The hosts have thought of everything including touches like leaving for us fresh flowers, a locally made fresh berry cheesecake and a delightful bottle of sparkling wine. The home is tastefully furnished very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen, lovely large screened in porch and an outdoor dining sitting area with a hot tub and sauna. The bedrooms are large, private, lovely bedding very comfortable. The beach is easily accessible with a sitting area and fire pit.The owners are on the property but were very respectful of our privacy and checked in just to make sure we didn’t need anything. We didn’t as they had thought of it all. It was a ladies four days away and we enjoyed every minute of it. We highly recommend it and plan to return."

"I was looking for a dog friendly winter vacation spot to hang out in the snow with my 1.5 year old lab/husky. He was too little last year to really enjoy the winter so this year I decided to spoil him for all his hard working in the last year training. It was daily zoomies for him and tons of fresh air and good old nature. The property was clean and user friendly. I was t able to use the hot tub, but that’s because my dog thinks I’m drowning when I go into a pool or tub so without causing him any stress I decided to forgo that part. I did enjoy the vast property and nearby trails. Absolutely stunning view from the cottage. I love the fact there was a dog run with a dog door so I didn’t have to walk him just to use the bathroom. If you are looking for a nice quiet winter getaway (and have dogs you want to travel with) to go snowshoeing, nature walking, snowmobiling, or skijoring I would 100% recommend this place."

"Have stayed at cottage 3 times now to attend Bancroft Curling Bonspiel. Perfect location and accommodation for the 4 of us, each getting our own bedroom. All aspects of accommodation met our needs as it is a cozy comfortable place and the host Jesse was very easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again."
