“Nice place and comfort hotel but little bit small and difficult to find entrance and signboard.”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……

“We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay.”

“We stayed here one night as my niece was getting married and having her wedding venue just down the road in the village Hall. The room was lovely, very clean and every thing you would need, to a very high standard. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on that.”

“Very welcoming with helpful and friendly staff. Good and varied dinner menu and a good choice selection of cooked or light breakfast. Location is out of the way down narrow lanes but the pretty village setting is both quiet and peaceful.”

“Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.”

“Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. We found their restaurant had a……

“I have stayed here a few times before. This time I needed to be at a meeting early in the morning so arrived at 9pm in the evening. We went straight to the bar to have a night cap. Unfortunately they were closing the bar “in 5 Mins” so only got one drink in before it closed. The air con in the room didn’t work so the small window in the room was all I had. Which means I had the curtains open to let as much air in as possible- not nice for a ground floor room that backed into cars. The electric……

“the food was excellent, but the room was very very small in one place there was only about 9 inches from the wall of the bathroom.”

“Very nice stay. Lovely king room. Hot rainfall shower. Breakfast lovely with plenty of choice. Spa was fresh and clean. Would stay again.”

“Food, staff and vibe was amazing however i was not paticularly impressed with the accommodation. A bit tired and stuffy”
