“Planned weekend away fell just 2 days after massive storm that resulted in a regional emergency. Host Kaylene was wonderful to deal with and said she would refund us if we were unable to have the holiday (no power at home etc). Wonderful host. Home was toasty warm and welcoming. Spacious rooms, super king beds (x2). Great location to explore the Tuatapere area e.g Hump Ridge, beaches (Gemstone Beach!!), Clifden Caves etc. Highly recommend and we plan to come back. “We loved the location of this cozy cottage in Manapouri. We were able to walk into the village easily and grab dinner and it was a short drive to Te Anau. The owners provided great information about the local area and hikes and had lots of great books about the area. We definitely felt like a local staying here and it was a perfect getaway spot. (We especially loved listening to the melodic birds while sitting on the patio.) ”

“This is the perfect space for a weekend away. Only a couple minutes drive into the main town with quiet surroundings. Well appointed amenities set on a beautiful property. Views of the snow top mountains and farm animals a plenty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this renovated home. It was absolutely picturesque and the hosts were amazing. We’ll be back for sure! 10/10 recommend! ”

“The property is brand new and well maintained, with a little of smell of fresh house. The view is truly impressive— we were even able to see a rainbow from the window, which was a lovely surprise. However, the Wi-Fi connection was quite slow during our stay, which may be inconvenient for guests who need stable internet access.
