"Brilliant stay from the beginning, reception staff friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful, and very cosy (four poster bed). It was old fashioned in style but I think that was the point, and it works very well. It was a lovely mix of modern and old. The bathroom was huge, and still had original plumbing features (vintage taps etc) but were brilliantly preserved. Easy to get a taxi into Folkestone harbour (5 pound each way). Not a lot of parking but there is free parking a 2 minute walk away. We absolutely loved Folkestone and said we would come back, and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else but the Burlington. "
"The hotel was excellent, especially considering the very reasonable price we paid. Although an old building, it was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable.
We also had a room with a sea view, and the hotel was 2 minutes walk from the lovely promenade.
The lady that checked us in was very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is also very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. Highly recommend.
