“Honestly, I don’t know what people are expecting/experiencing. I’ve read the reviews. It’s our second time at the Royalton Antigua. The beach is pristine, the staff is kind and accommodating, the room was beautiful, and the food is decently good. We’re a family of 4 with two young children. The worst part about the place is leaving it.”

“The Buccaneer Beach Club was perfect stay. The staff friendly especially Candace at Front Desk. The grounds well kept. My room was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again. If there is a downside, which there is not. The Buccaneer does not host an eatery, but why would it. You have a kitchen to cook your own food. Microwave, hot stove, etc. Next door is the Salt Plage which has good food. Great staff too!”

“When you get to the property it’s a bit hard to find where to go but once you do everyone was very nice. The room was clean, would have liked a kettle and some cups/glasses in the room. The patio around the pool was showing its age but the pool itself was nice. Overall a nice place to stay and relax.”

“I overnighted there as I was in transit to catch an ongoing flight. The host met me at the airport. The property was as described. The cottage was cute, effectively using the limited space. I must mention the bed. It was super comfy. The area where the property is located was very quiet and peaceful. Edith”

“Overall, my stay was quite good. The environment and location were great, and the host was very friendly. The only areas for improvement were: the seasonings were a bit limited – salt and pepper were almost gone; laundry detergent needed to be brought from home; and the shower water pressure was a little low. Aside from these, everything else was perfect, and I would gladly recommend this place.”

“Excellent check in process, nice property, very clean, great AC in the bedroom. Very quiet and secluded, really reminded me of a cottage. Not much around that you can walk to but overall it was a really nice spot with excellent hosts.”

“The rooms are clean and spacious, with effective air con, and other helpful amenities. The pool is ideal and there is optional shade for sun lounges. The staff are polite and Collette was so helpful and did everything to ensure our stay was comfortable.”
