“We loved our week at Shepherds rest! Ilona was lovely and answered questions quickly and was so good to check in periodically. The house was clean and comfortable. The scariest part of the stay was driving through the tunnel when coming and going but we were driving a 9 passenger van so a small car would have no problems at all. There are beautiful walks right outside the door and it was peaceful and quiet. Lovely place to stay!”

“I wanted to have a home base in western Scotland for a few weeks of sightseeing and resting and was delighted by the pictures of this cottage. Being able to look straight out at the water (or mud flats during low tide) and sailboats in the marina was special, as was watching the many happy ducks and hoppity rabbits on the grassy verge. After a full day out it was lovely to sit round the table and play games . The beds were so comfortable. Everything was of a high standard.
