Cerdagne makes up the northern half of the historic Cerdanya region on the Spanish border. The southern part belongs to Catalunya and Spain. Drive north from central Barcelona for 110 miles (180 kilometers) to get here in 2 to 3 hours. While in this part of southern France, travel to other surrounding districts such as Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Catalanes, Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Ariégeoises and Parc Natural del Cadi-Moixeró.
